The Challenge

In 2009, I developed a custom website for David, complete with a hand-coded gallery update tool and simple e-commerce abilities.

As proud as we both were that this site stood the test of time, we both agreed it was time to move into the next decade.

The Goals

• Make it work on phones, tablets, and any device anyone wants to use!
• Upgrade the ordering process, to include a full-fledged shopping cart and the ability to add and remove multiple sizes / versions of prints.
• Give David the ability to edit ANYTHING on the site, anytime!
• Increase security to bring up-to-date (and out of ColdFusion)!

The Challenge

For nearly ten years, the ladies at Kreatelier were happy with the original online store we set up. Fortunately for them, they kept growing, and grew right out of their site. They needed a new solution.

• Integrate the day-to-day store’s stock in real-time with online sales
• Make the website work on phones, tablets, and any device anyone wants to use
• Give employees and admins the ability to contribute and approve content for the site, anytime
• Increase security to bring up-to-date

The Challenge

Pat came to me in 2014, after I created the Narragansett Bay Quilters’ Association site. She had been using a complicated shopping cart that a programmer set up for her. Unfortunately, it was expensive, hard-to-use, and less than intuitive for her customers. It also didn’t look so hot… She was losing sales, and visibility.

The Goals

• Re-design the site to be welcoming and easy-to-use
• Research and identify the proper e-commerce solution for her business
• Integrate important functionalities such as email list, sale items, coupons, and custom shipping settings.
